Sk8er Dude from Tellen's Place

Totally Rad! Do you know a sk8er? This great image is from Tellen's Place. This week they are hosting a male challenge. I knew this was the image I wanted to use. I remembered having some stickers leftover from a scrapbook page I had done years ago. What really surprised me was I found them. =) The sketch for this card is from Friday Sketch. Over at Crafty Creations Challenge they wanted to see warm projects this week. Being from Iowa skateboarding is only done in the warm summer months. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!!

A bright Thank You

Oh My! Did you ever make a card that just about put you over the edge? Well, this one did for me! I can NOT do simple, clean, crisp!! I just can't! I have spent more time on this card than I have on a card in a long time. You should see my desk - what a mess! I love my life, house, work, etc all being uncluttered but my cards - the more clutter the better! Now I know my style for sure! =) I totally love this Thank You sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is perfect for a fancy card or for a clean, crisp, and simple card (if you can manage to make one!).
The layout for this card came from Get Sketchy Challenge. At Creative Prompts 4 U they wanted to see bright colors. Then over at Sisterhood of Crafters they have an anything goes challenge this week. Thanks for checking out the hardest card I think I have ever made. Know that this will be the last clean, crisp, and simple card I will ever make!! =)

The layout for this card is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge. At Paper Variety they wanted to see a friendship card and they asked us to use a picture as inspiration. This cute little Granny is a free image this week from Tellen's Place. They are hosting a polka dot challenge this week and are offering this fun image. The layout for this card is from Dutch Dare Challenge. I love the sentiment that I put inside the card so I thought I'd show it off and make an easel card. At Crafts 4 Eternity they have a embellishment recipe challenge going on. They want to see string, flowers, and buttons. I used the string to tie my buttons. =) Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fun crafting weekend!

So Happy Together

It is snowing again here in Iowa today so I'm warm inside. These adorable little penguins love the winter - Yuck! These cuties are from Clear Dollar Stamps. They are an old set called Zoo Critters. At Crafty Catz Challenge they wanted us to use a forgotten stamp. I have never even used these guys. They looked sad when I took them out, now that they have gotten inked up they are happy. The sentiment "So Happy Together" is one of the Clear Dollar Stamps new for January stamps. The layout for this card is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
At CCEE they wanted to see penguins. At Aud Sentiments they wanted to see a love project. At Fab 'N Funky Challenge they wanted to see animal magic. Fun new digi stamps over at Doodle Pantry and a new challenge! Yeah, what a fun day. The challenge is "love". The card I made is using the new Cozy Gazeboo stamp. Isn't it a beauty! I used the sentiment from the free love sentiments also from Doodle Pantry.

Patchwork Heart

I loved the idea of this card. The verse reads "Let not your Heart be troubled." with the patchwork heart. All of us have had a broken heart that has been patched up but with God we don't need to be troubled. The verse is a new stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps just released this month. It is called Let Not Your Heart. The patchwork idea came from Creative Inspiration Challenge. At Creative Cottage Challenge and Stamptacular Challenge they both wanted to see shaped cards.
Finally, over at Tuesday Morning Sketch they wanted to see metal on our projects. Thanks for stopping and see you again soon!

You're The Best

I'm not a pastel person at all but I just had to do it. =) The sentiment is a new one from Clear Dollar Stamps it was just released this month and it sure is a fun one for a friend card. Not the same old, same old. The sketch is from Twisted Card Sketch but they not only wanted the sketch they also wanted to see die cuts. At Crafts 4 Eternity they wanted to see blue. At Stamp Scrap and Doodle they have an anything goes week at their challenge.
At Corrosive Challenge they wanted to see lace and pearls. Finally over at Critter Sketch this week they want to see blue, silver, pearls, and rhinestones. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Dorothy in Red?

I tried hard to color this Diva Dorothy in blues but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Red is my favorite color so that explains the red with this poor Dorothy. This super cute image came from Tellen's Place and this week they are having a ribbon challenge. I wove the ribbon through the punch but it just didn't do enough for me so I tied some ribbon knots. At Wee Memories they are all hosting a ribbon challenge.

The sketch is from Sketch Saturday Challenge. At Paper Sundaes they wanted us to use our favorite challenge so I choose the #25 challenge white plus one color - red (what else). Finally at Stamp Insanity they wanted us to let it all hang out. Well, mine is hanging over the edge of my card. =) Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

New digis at Clear Dollar Stamps!

New digis today! Yeah!! Today is the release day over at Clear Dollar Stamps for Digital stamps. This month they are releasing four different sets and believe me you will "need" them all! =) The stamp I am showing off today is part of a set called "Rose Bloom". Now let me admit when I first saw this stamp I was intimidated. It is so beautiful just black and white I was afraid to mess it up with my coloring. But, I just love red roses so I thought I'd give it a shot. It really was easy to color and I love the outcome. This set also comes with a stamp with two rose buds and three different sentiments. The "Love" I used being one of them. Over at the Clearly iStamp blog they will be showing all the sets available starting today. These are the other designers who are showing off the sets today: Barb, Cassie, Chelsea, Jan, Jasmin, Kate, Laurie, Linda, Tricia, and Trudy.
