Goofy Ghost

Quirky Lizard

Are you having a happy day? I sure am!! Today I mailed three boxes of cards off to Chrildrens Hospitals in my area. In the three boxes combined there was 93 cards for the kids. How wonderful is that! I mail to a Children's Hospital in Iowa, one in Nebraska, and one in Sioux Falls. Think about it! Today I have a card that I made using the Quirky Lizard digital stamp from Doodle Pantry. One thing I love about the Quirky collection is you can make them any color. This little guy is just too cute. I had fun coloring his tummy blue. =)

Scary Halloween

Snow Birdie

Do you ever have one of those "Duh" moments? Well, I have to admit, I do quite often. =) When I first looked at this image from Doodle Pantry I thought oh how cute. Then today I went back to use it and "Duh" just realized this little birdie wasn't building a snowman she is building a snowbird! Now, that just makes me giggle! How totally cute is that! I felt stupid at first but not any longer I find that feeling passes quickly with me. =) LOL This cute winter scene is from Doodle Pantry and called Snow Birdie. Now see the name should have clued me in. Oh well!

Trick or Treat

I'm trying to gather as many halloween cards as possible because at the beginning of the week I will be mailing a box of cards off for the Send A Smile 4 Kids. This funny little image is from Bugaboo Stamps and he is called BobbleHead Frank. The name just makes him more funny to me. =) The layout for this card is from Daring Cardmakers.

Sweets for Autumn

Do caramel apples remind you of fall? They do me. When my boys were young we always made caramel apples every fall. Now I have to make them on my own but they sure want to eat them with me. =) Still I smile while I am making them because of all the good memories! This yummy treat is from Clear Dollar Stamps. It is one of the digital sets that was released in September and I haven't used it yet. The set is called Sweet and Spicy. It is a definate must have for all cards. This super fun layout is from Sketches by Carly.

A Purple Paisley Penguin

Yep, this little guy is purple, has a paisley pattern and is the most adorable penguin you have ever seen. This cutie is from Doodle Pantry. He is called Quirky Penguin. He is new this month and free if you join in the Doodle Pantry challenge. He sure is a cutie! The layout and paper piecing idea came from Creative Sketches. At Aud Sentiments they wanted a winter theme.
At Southern Girls challenge they wanted to see polka dots and stripes. Over at Cooking It Up with Katie they wanted to see a bird, buttons, and a border on our projects. Spider Fun

I'm not a spider gal but this little guy is totally adorable! He is part of a new digital stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps this month. The set is called Spider Greetings. He is safe inside a shaker box so he just isn't as scary. =) The layout for this card came from Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge. At Truely Scrumptious they wanted to see a shaker box.
Clear It Out Challenge wanted us to use trims, that means ribbon and I thought this one was perfect. At My Time to Craft they wanted to see a punch or die. The dies I used are the Spellbinders Ovals and the punch is from Martha Stewart. Finally, over at Our Creative Corner they wanted to see something transparent. Boo to You

Halloween will be here soon. I can't believe October is going by so quickly. The card for today is using an image from Bugaboo Stamps. This cute cat popping tough a window is part of a set called Cutesy Halloween Blocks. I believe he was a freebie a couple weeks back. At the Catch the Bug challenge they wanted to see animals antics. At the Party Time Challenge they wanted us to use this layout and have a halloween theme.

High in the Sky

Hello everyone! Today I made a tall card to show you. This card fits inside a legal size envelope. It is 9X7 1/2. Folded the card is 3 3/4 X 9. They are fun to decorate and this size worked fun with two different challenges today. The totally adorable Daisy Hot Air Balloon and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps. I used a piece of black wire to connect the basket on the balloon and the sentiment.

Blog Hop day for Clear Dollar Stamps!

Yeah it's blog hop day! Are you ready to see some fun "Happy Fall" ideas today from Clear Dollar Stamps? Happy Fall is what all of the design team creations will be about in this hop. For my card for the hop I used two older sets. You know the saying oldies but goodies! Underneath this ghost costume is an adorable dog. He is from the Dog Days set. Then his costume, pumpkin bag, and the sentiment are with the Dog Days Celebrations set. With the celebrations set you can have you puppy celebrating a birthday, easter, halloween, or even Christmas. Corn Candy Ants

Better keep a watch on your candy bowl! Another adorable ant image from Doodle Pantry. This one is called Corn Candy Ants. I was looking at the Doodle Pantry store and saw there are 38 ant stamp sets. I knew there were a lot but I was shocked how many totally adorable ant sets Laurie has created. You can see by the stitching I was playing with my new Sewing tools from We R Memory Keepers. I need some more practice on working the wheel and not letting my paper move. So you will be seeing more from that. =) Anyway, the layout for this card came from 2 Sisters, they wanted us to use the sketh and make is halloween.
At the Copic challenge and One Stop Craft Challenge they also wanted to see halloween fun. Over at Just Us Girls they wanted us to use orange, black, and green, and purple. Digital stamp release day at Clear Dollar Stamps

Yeah, it's digi day! Clear Dollar Stamps is releasing their digis today. Twelve new sets are being released today and I am showing off two of them. The first card is using the Year Round Calendar stamp set. You will receive all twelve months and each stamp has an image at the bottom to go with the month. How fun is this!
I am submitting the October card into the Poodles Parlour challenge they wanted to see halloween. At Pattie's Creations and Card Makin' Mamas they both also wanted to see halloween.
The second set I am showing off today is the Autumn Critters stamp set. Owls are huge this year so you won't want to be left out. Plus, he is such a cutie. With this set you will receive four stamps and four sentiments. In the set the owl is perched on a branch so I had to cut his off of that and perch him on the pumpkins. The pumpkins were just so cute I had to use those too. The set is also available to purchase already colored with a paper pack to match.

Candy Cane Ants

You just never know what these funny little ants from Doodle Pantry are going to be up to. I just love the creativity that comes from Laurie at Doodle Pantry. This image just makes me smile. This set is called Candy Cane Ants it is a new set just released at the beginning of October. This set also comes colored with two digital papers to match. Robot Fun!

Lots of fun news to share with you today and this little guy is celebrating! We have added three new Children's Hospitals at the Send A Smile 4 Kids! We are adding two in Iowa and one in South Dakota. I'm really excited about that because that means more kids that we can cheer up. Windowbox Wishes

I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it! The set is called Windowbox Wishes. What you will receive is the windown with the curtain hanging, then three different boxes to put in front of your window, then 5 sentiments. The flowers could be used all year long but I choose to make them fall looking. The mums seem just beautiful this year and that it the look I was going for. This is one of the new stamp sets from Clear Dollar Stamps. This is a really fun set!

Vintage Friends Card

Hi bloggers! Life has gotten me down lately and I missed the Sneak Peaks Parade for Clear Dollar Stamps. We have a granddaughter dying of brain cancer. Things are just so emotional right now just trying to accept what is happening. Anyway, I will be posting my cards slowly but surely. The card below is using the beautiful Christian Friendship stamp set. This is just a sentiment set and you receive 15 sentiments and they are all about friends. I decided to use the antique sentiment and went with that look.
At Crafty Pad this week they are having a Vintage challenge so this worked great. At Sentimental Sunday, Stampin' Sisters in Christ, and One Stop Challenge they are all hosting an anything goes week so I am submitting to all three of those challenge. Quirky Owl for Fall

I am so addicted to the Doodle Pantry Quirky Collection! This is one of the newest for the month. Let me introduce Quirky Owl. How totally adorable! The gigham body center and the flower around her eye are paper pieced in. This fun set also comes colored but I can't print them out so I am still coloring on my own. Today starts the Doodle Pantry challenge. Did you know that just for participating you will receive a free digital stamp set. Funny Witch Legs

I just thought these witches legs and shoes were just too cute! This is an adorable image from Bugaboo Stamps. At the Catch the Bug challenge this week they are hosting an anything goes challenge so I took advantage to use these funny legs! The layout for this card is from Card Patterns. At All Sorts this week they wanted to see at least five flowers on your project. I thought the paper roses really dressed up this fun halloween card, there are 9 flowers in grey, black, and orange. How often do you get to use black and grey roses?

Digi Day at Doodle Pantry!

At Doodle Pantry we changed our release day. From now on the new digi sets will be released on the first of every month from now own. Yeah!! The totally adorable set I get to show you is called the "Quirky Turkey". Now, he is just as much fun as his name is to say. When I first saw him he just made me smile! All the sets this month are so much fun with so many possibilities!
